Day Services

Shares, Inc. offers three options for participants, designed to meet each individual’s current interests and life stages:

  • Skills to Work is for individuals who are interested in developing work skills in preparation for future community employment.
  • Skills to Thrive is for individuals who are interested in having fun while developing meaningful skills to enhance their independence. It’s our former Daily Living Skills program, but enhanced to offer more personalized options.
  • Good Life Club is designed for retiring individuals who are stepping back from employment or day services but still want to stay active, social, and connected.

Day Services at Shares, Inc. are funded through Medicaid Waiver, OBRA, or group home funds.

Social Services

Shares, Inc. provides comprehensive Social Services designed to support participants as they navigate daily life, community involvement, and personal growth. From initial intake to person-centered planning, our team works alongside each individual to identify needs, set goals, and connect them with essential resources. Services include benefits counseling, information and referral, transportation assistance, and self-advocacy training. Our focus is on empowering people to build confidence, strengthen independence, and access the tools they need to thrive in every aspect of life.

Program Management

Program Management at Shares, Inc. ensures services are person-centered, coordinated, and high quality. Program Managers oversee the planning and delivery of services while working closely with individuals, families, guardians, case managers, and staff. The Program Manager’s role is to ensure that supports align with each person’s goals, preferences, and funding requirements, while also meeting state and federal standards. Through service coordination, compliance oversight, and staff support, Program Managers help create meaningful days and positive outcomes for the individuals we serve.
