Partner with Us

Partner with us to develop tomorrow’s workforce! Together, we can build strong community connections and develop a skilled, motivated workforce.
We offer a range of partnership opportunities, from a brief tour of your workplace to hiring a job seeker to fill an open position with your company. You can partner with us on a one-time basis, or you can commit to a regular schedule. Regardless of your level of partnership, you will be providing valuable learning opportunities while also gaining access to a pool of candidates who may be a great fit for your workforce!

Partnership opportunities include:

Exploration Partner

In many cases, the individuals we work with just need to see what work is available in their communities. By opening your doors for a brief tour, informational interview, or job shadow, you can show people with disabilities how they can contribute to the workforce.

Evaluation Partner

Employers need qualified candidates. Through a short-term onsite evaluation, Shares, Inc. staff can assess a potential job match by providing a brief hands-on experience in a real work setting, ensuring a good fit for both job seekers and employers.

Engagement Partner

Does your organization engage with volunteers? Volunteer experience strengthens an individual’s résumé and provides valuable learning opportunities while supporting your important work in the community. We can connect you with individuals or small groups, for one-time or ongoing volunteer service.

Employment Partner

When you hire a job seeker through Shares, Inc., you gain an employee who is motivated and dependable, with the support of an Employment Consultant to ensure that your new hire learns how to perform their job to your specifications. Hiring through our Community Employment Services can diversify your workforce, reduce turnover, improve staff morale, and help to change misconceptions about disability in your community. Employment Partners are usually eligible for tax credits too!
